The most common type of fracture in Indonesia is lower extremity fractures, which are mostly caused by trauma due to accidents. Objective: To analyze how early mobilization is implemented in patients with post-operative femoral fractures. Method: This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Participants consisted of 4 people, namely 3 patients and 1 key informant, namely a surgeon. Results: Based on the results of in-depth interviews, it was found that all patient informants in moving the affected limbs were assisted by their families. They moved the affected limbs starting from the heel then the ankle, rotating them to the left and right alternately. They were able to explain the purpose of mobilization, although not completely, namely to prevent muscle stiffness, improve blood circulation, and accelerate wound healing. Conclusion: The informants performed early mobilization after femoral fracture surgery with the help of their families and understood the benefits of mobilization, such as preventing muscle stiffness, improving blood circulation, and accelerating the healing process, although this understanding was incomplete. Recommendations are expected to provide guidance on early mobilization for patients after femoral fracture surgery and explain the benefits of postoperative mobilization in language that is easily understood by patients, thereby increasing their awareness of independent mobilization.
2026-05-31T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2026 Lasalle Health Journalhttps://journal.unikadelasalle.ac.id/index.php/lhj/article/view/188KOMBINASI TRANSCUTANEOUS ELECTRICAL NERVE STIMULATION DAN CORE STABILITY EXERCISE TERHADAP NYERI DAN AKTIVITAS FUNGSIONAL PADA PASIEN SPONDYLOSIS LUMBAL2026-05-27T17:00:09+08:00Andre Banuaandrebanua@gmail.comJoanne Robotjrobot@gmail.comFilly Mamuajafmamuaja@unikadelasalle.ac.id
Introduction: Lumbar spondylosis is a degenerative condition of the lumbar spine that frequently causes low back pain and limitations in functional activities.
